Assuming the government’s timetable for the easing of lockdown does not change, the DVSA have announced that both classroom and in-vehicle training can resume no earlier than April 12th 2021
Notice From JAUPT 10th March 2021
DVSA has confirmed an anticipated restart date of 12 April 2021 for all classroom based periodic training in-line with the publication of the roadmap out of national lockdown. This includes in-vehicle and third-party classroom-based Driver CPC periodic training.
DVSA still encourages periodic training to be delivered remotely where possible to help restrict the spread of the virus.
DVSA anticipates lorry lessons and tests and theory testing will restart on the same date. Bus lessons and tests and module 4 testing should restart on 29 March. All of these dates are indicative and are subject to restrictions being eased as part of step one of the roadmap.
DVSA are working with the Scottish and Welsh Governments, who are setting out similar plans to the UK government. JAUPT will keep you updated as these develop. You can read more about stopping the spread of coronavirus on GOV.UK
We Are Booking Now

As well as bookings for CPC courses we are already taking bookings for Defensive Driving Courses, Driver Assessor Courses and Banksman Courses.
We’ll be pleased to hear from you if you wish to provisionally reserve training dates for April and May.
